iComment™

With the iComment button installed you'll see iComment note icons like this one overlayed on the far right of web pages as you surf the web.

By clicking on the icon to maximize it, you can read other's comments and add your own comments.

This is an example of a Web Page comment. The overall Web page comment always appears as the top comment on the web page.

Comments that are further down the page are about specific elements of the page like specific text or a specific picture.

Along the way, use the button's internal communication system to meet people who share like web interests.

Use our search engine to quickly locate comments about any words, phrases or topic you enter. The search results can lead you to valuable web pages you may not have known about.

This is an example of a picture comment. As you can see the picture its attached to is outlined to show that this is a comment made about the outlined picture.

To add a picture comment, right click on a picture and select "Add Picture iComment" from the menu.

With the button, you'll see "text" comments like this as you surf the web.

If you hover your mouse over the note icon you'll notice the highlighted text to the left. That is the text that the original iCommentator highlighted when the note was originally added.

There are three ways to add iComments. Here are the steps:

To add a Webpage Comment:

• Step 1: Click the arrow down next to the iComment toolbar button at the top of your browser. A drop down menu should appear.
• Step 2: Select "Add Web Page Comment".
• Step 3: Enter your comment into the text editor and press OK.

To add a Text Comment:

• Step 1: Using your mouse, highlight (swipe) the text on the web page that corresponds to the comment you want to make.
• Step 2: The iComment button on your toolbar should now have a pencil in the center of it. Click the toolbar button with your mouse and the text editor will open.
• Step 3: Enter your comment into the text editor and press OK. Your comment should appear to the right of the text you highlighted.

To add a Picture Comment:

• Step 1: Right click on the picture that you want the comment to be about. A menu will appear.
• Step 2: Select "Add Picture iComment' from the menu. The iComment text editor will open.
• Step 3: Enter your comment into the text editor and press OK. Your comment should appear the the right of the picture.

Each post it icomment box has many features:

Click on the Add Comment icon if you want to add your comment to the iComment box.

Click on the Profile icon if you want to see the profile of the person that wrote the comment.

Click on the Message icon if you want to send a private message to the iCommentator who wrote the comment. To read your private messages click on arrow down next to the Toolbar iComment icon and a menu will appear. Select "My Inbox" and your private message box will appear. You can reply to messages, delete messages or leave them for later.

Click on the Search icon if you want to see all of the comments that the iCommentator wrote. A new window will open with all of the comments that iCommentator wrote.

These icons only appear on your comments. They are used to Edit and Delete comments you previously wrote.

You can communicate with other iCommenters through the button's internal communication system.

You can also add links to your pages on other social networks and links to your web pages. These links appear in your profile so others can contact you any way you prefer.

These features are quickly accessible through the "Settings" selection on the button's drop down menu.
